Refund policy
At Stevie Buoy, I stand by the quality of my products and want you to be genuinely happy with your purchase.
If something arrives damaged or faulty, I will meet my obligations under Australian Consumer Law to provide a remedy. However, I do not offer refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind — so please choose carefully.
🔄 General Returns
- Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.
- Returns must be pre-authorised — please contact me before sending anything back.
- If goods are found to be faulty or incorrect, Stevie Buoy will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
- Goods must be returned in appropriate packaging and in unused condition.
- After 30 days from purchase, returns cannot be accepted unless the product is faulty.
- Approved returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Made-to-order and custom items are not eligible for refunds. If a return is approved, these items will receive store credit only, valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
🚚 Incorrect Shipping Details
Please ensure your shipping details are entered correctly at checkout. Stevie Buoy cannot be held responsible for parcels delayed, lost, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.
- If a parcel cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete details, a redirection fee may be payable to correct the issue — this fee is charged by the courier.
- Redirection may not always be available.
- If redirection is not possible and the parcel is returned to Stevie Buoy, the customer will be responsible for paying the re-shipping cost (flat-rate shipping does not apply — the actual carrier charge will be invoiced before re-shipment).
- If the order is cancelled instead of re-shipped, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from any refund amount.

Made-to-order or custom items returned due to incorrect address details:
- Re-shipping is charged at the actual carrier rate (flat-rate does not apply).
- If you choose to cancel instead of re-ship, no refund is available — a store credit valid for 6 months will be issued.
- Stevie Buoy must receive the returned parcel before any refund can be processed.
💸 Price Drops After Purchase
If the product you ordered goes on sale before it has been delivered, I’m happy to issue store credit for the difference (valid 6 months). Refunds are not offered for price drops or promotional discounts after an order has been placed or delivered.
❌ Order Cancellations
(Excludes Third-Party Products)
- Orders can only be cancelled if made-to-order production has not yet started.
- Orders can only be cancelled if ready-made items have not yet been shipped.
- Deposits for custom-made and made-to-order items are non-refundable.
- Made-to-order items cancelled after production begins are eligible for store credit only, valid for 6 months.
📦 Third-Party Product Returns & Refunds
Stevie Buoy also offers selected products fulfilled by trusted third-party partners. Please note the following terms for these items:
- Change-of-mind returns are not accepted on third-party products.
- Returns are only accepted if the item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect.
- All returns must be pre-authorised before sending anything back.
- Returned goods must be unused, sealed, and in their original packaging.
- Stevie Buoy must be notified within 14 days of delivery to arrange any return.
- Items must be securely packaged for return shipping.
- Approved returns may incur a 20% restocking fee and applicable freight charges, unless the item is confirmed faulty or incorrect.
